2g gm maf adapter ?

I saw this on ebay and i'm assuming this cable only works if you have dsmlink to be able to run the cable from the gm maf straight to the stock plug, or is this a new cable that doesn't require a translator ?

it could be used with either ECMlink or with a MAFT, either the standard or the GEN 2, but not on its own... with that cable you would need to mount a standard MAFT in the cab like you would a MAFT GEN 2.

Thanks mike that's what i had thought, i've had gm maf/maft combos in 2 previous dsm and this new harness just puzzled me for a second.
