I want the most bang for the buck, but don't really feel like spending any more on the car then I have too...car has a evoIII with just about everything to support it. ily driven. Time to hook it up.

Only mods I have now for suspension is, motor mounts and strut bar.

Should I get rsr springs, struts, wider rims, and some sticky tires?

Keep the stock rims, get some sticky tires, lower the car, and get some adjustable struts, and a LSD?

i say option 2 wouldbe the best.. lower it and get adjustable shocks to spread the load where you want to... and the lsd and sticky tires will definitely help too.. i say get a good set of eibach lowering springs, kyb adjustable shocks front and rear, any lsd but quafie is the best imo from my experiences and a decient set of drag radials will set you more than on your way :thumb:

Ya I guess I'll get the springs and shocks first then deside on the rest.

I want the RS-R springs because they lower the front more shifting the weight to the front wheels. That's why I was thinking about getting wider rims. With the stock rims and shifting the weight to the front it's gonna increase the weight per square inch of the patch were as with wider rims and tires it's gonna probably balance out as far as weight per square inch.

I think the rs-r springs are 1.2" front, .08" rear.

you can use the adjustable shocks to help with the weight distribution.. just set the fronts softer and the rears a little harder.. that will help you get off the line and keep those front tires with as much weight on them as possible

Won't that cause a more voilent shift of weight back and forth? With softer shocks in the rear the weight shift back and forth would be more smooth and gradual....

kinda need a little help here guys, 300whp isn't going to no much good with out putting it to the ground.

I thought you already made up your mind??

My choice set up which is in the works includes illuminas, H&R O.E. sports (1"/1"), RMDSM sway bars, and the next time I need to pull the tranny for another clutch or whatever, one of SBRs $200 LSDs. I can't justify paying for the $1000 LSDs, I'm not that hardcore.

All I've got is the strut bar and engine mounts also. same turbo with all supporting mods. I just hate mashing on the gas and feeling the car try and do a wheels stand... when it's FWD :thumbdown

ok, scratch the H&R OE springs. This got me thinking about suspension again and I went to order those springs but they're about 240 after shipping and tax so I just ordered some Tein H-Tech springs since they were only $150 shipped from 9 second racing. They lower the car .9 front and .8 rear for a GS-T. I'm thinking with the little extra weight of the spyder, that should put me right at an inch, maybe .1 or .2 over. Perfect for what I'm looking for. I'll order the illuminas and post a review on how I like everything.

Ya I heard with some shocks though, they have a stiffer initial shock while others give more gradual and stiffen up the farther they travel.

With a FWD wouldn't you want more of gradual shock?

Anyone have any info between different shocks? I guess I don't know enough about shock design....
