I was having speaks with Kevin at Kiggly Racing a few months ago and got me really going on this idea he had for a potential solution to the seemingly unsolved 2G FWD Equal Length Half Shaft Mod.

What we know that works:
90-92 1G FWD GST's have 25 spline/26mm axles just like the AWD. This is what makes it possible to do the Equal Length Half Shaft Mod to these years of transmissions. However, come 92.5 - 94 they switched to the larger 27 spline/28mm axles making this mod much, much more difficult. It turns out that these later style axles share very similar if not identical specifications as the 2G GST axles. (at least in regards to the spline count and shaft diameter)

What we know so far that doesn't work:
We cannot use the 1G AWD or even 2G AWD intermediate shaft regardless of year, auto, manual etc because the spline count and diameter are different from our 2G FWD transmissions.

The Potential Solution / Speculation:
There is another car that uses a similar transmission as our 2G Turbo FWD cars. The 3000GT SL / Stealth RT with the V6 FWD seem to share our 5spd transmissions but different bell housings. But, they have Equal Length Half Shafts from the factory!! 91-92 3S have 25 Spline Intermediate shafts while 93-99 3S have the 27 Splines intermediate shafts.

I am still waiting on a response of 3S Warehouse on the shaft diameters of both sets but this seems promising enough to share.

If anyone can chime in with experience with this please shed some light upon the subject.
