During the swap of the 6 bolt to my 2g fwd eclipse we came across a problem the 6 bolt flywheel that came on the engine is bigger then the one from my 7 bolt

I was assured that the flywheel on the engine i rebuild was a fwd flywheel so i was woundering what could it be is there different size flywheels?

I Talked to the guy i bought the engine off and he assured me it was a fwd flywheel The starter ring gears were both the same size but the 7-bolt FWD flywheel clutch step (where the clutch bolts too) is 1.5cm larger in overall circumfrance and it rubs up against an OEM produced protrusion in the bellhousing.

So we found out what the problem was and i had a jdm transmission in my car and from what we found out they have smaller bellhousings then the original dsm transmissions got the flywheel lightened and balanced.
