Resolved 2G Flashing ABS light?

Hi,

2 weeks ago me and a buddy of mine were installing a 16g turbo on my 98 Eagle Talon TSi AWD and we forgot to unhook the battery before we dug in and accidently touched the alternator which made a spark.

After the install I fired her up and my anti lock light was flashing, my interior light doesn't work, I can't roll up my windows, my radio turns on, but the speakers don't work while resetting itself to 1:00 after every start up and shut down, my horn blares when I turn my headlights on as well as when I go over 30mph. But she runs awesome.

I had to remove the horn relay just to be able to drive my own car with out the cops thinking I stole it.

We checked all the fuses and tried resetting the ecu and it still behaves this way. My buddy thinks it may have something to do with the anti theft computer? I tried putting a different ecu from a 95-96 DSM, plugged it in like a 97-98 and started her up and got a little back fire and immediately shut down. But all the problems were still present. I don't know if the ecu is the problem.

Anybody gotta cure or idea on how to resolve this nagging problem?

Have you checked the fusible links in the relay box in engine compartment, I would think one of those got blown. Just from a brief look at manual #11 looks like a possibility its a 10A red one and it has to do with dome lights as well as theft alarm and few other things. Think I would check all fuses just be safe since got that big spark. Good luck don't think be too hard figure out.

I'll go ahead and double check. The alternator fuse was blown, but I got that one changed out. And I had O'Reiley's put my alternator in their checker and it's fine for being old. Keep'em coming guys.

Ok,

Anti lock light flashing, stereo no sound, and no windows or interior plus no a/c and interior light.
Diagnosis:
The black and white wire running to the yellow 60 amp fuse next to the blue 100 amp fuse. The fuse wasn't getting any power so we tested it by touching the battery and that area with a piece of wire and then the light went out and windows were able to roll up. But to the naked eye the fuse appeared ok.

Always helps to test the fuse even when it looks good . Glad you got it sorted out man.
