i see there r topics about this but want to know from experienced people that have purchased from ebay and what mod they had to do from cutting bumpers to cutting pipes for the custom fit pics welcome

I have a "eBay" fmic, it came with a bunch of different pipes, it was pretty easy to see where the pipes go and then cut them to fit. I had the cut the bumper and the bumper cover but it only took about 30 min. and mounting the intercooler depends on which type you get. If my intercooler wasn't free i would have bought the punishment racing kit. If you do get a "eBay" kit make sure it comes with silicone couplers and t bolt clamps.

I have an eBay intercooler and piping on one of my talons and I gotta say it came out pretty good. I had to completely remove my bumper support and cut a lot of the pipe to make it fit right but I took my time and am happy with the results. I thought I had some pictures of it on my computer but I can't find them so I'll have to take some new ones. Its short route, I had to do a lot of cutting and fitting to make it perfect though.

Anyway if you go that route I'd recommend the "CXracing" ones, they're heavy duty with thicker pipe and their kits come with T-bolt clamps. For the core and piping kit they are about $150. Next time I would probably just buy an SS autochrome kit and save the hassle of cutting up the piping and what not though.

yes that was a question. they used to say it was a bolt on no mods but i have seen different comments stating diifferently

Far as i am aware you have to modify the bumper support in some way....unless i am mistaken.

Unless you go with a tiny core your gonna have to do some minor cutting to that support...

ok i take it nobody realy buys the 24x7x3 cores for there dsm or no one wants to admit it
