Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the timing marks on the crank pulley supposed to be in-line with the timing marks on the crank sprocket so that when at top dead center, both the sprocket and pulley indicate as such? Which would be the reason for having marks on both.

If so, somehow I got a part that's f@#ked up. I got my engine timed, which doesn't matter. The sprocket is lined up at TDC, and the guide pin for the pulley is at about the 3 o'clock position. If I place the pulley over the guide pin, the pulley timing marks are at about 5 o'clock position. Is this right? Should it be there?

I find this kind of odd since I've never noticed this positioning before. It shouldn't matter as the engine is timed, but still.....
