I have been very vocal regarding the lack of any 2g specific catch can options on the market currently. I had this idea of using JMF's small battery tray for a catch can holder, but could not seem to find any catch can to fit. After reaching out to a friend of mine who fabricates for a well known race team, this is what we came up with.

We started with a 2g pc680 small battery tray from JMF. A lot of people use aftermarket intake manifolds, which sit much lower then the stock location. This is originally why I started using the pc680 tray in the first place. I did not like the pc680, especially when tuning when it requires multiple start-ups without proper run time for charging. After upgrading to a larger battery in another location (follow my build thread for more info) I had this mount being unused, and thought that this location would be perfect for a catch can setup.

The can its self is approximately the same size of a pc680, with two -10 ports and breathers that clear the battery tie down. I opted not to use a drain on the bottom, due to how easily it can be removed from the battery tray.

I could not be happier with the result - catch can is in a perfect location to clear intercooler pipes, and lines from the valve cover are relatively short (12-14"), and aesthetically I think it looks great. Eventually I will powder coat this wrinkly black to match my setup but here it is in its raw form.

Thank you - I actually reached out to JMF months ago to have them make it, but they said although they liked the idea - they were too busy to produce it. My friend said if there is interest he would start making them for us, but lets see if it takes off.
