I have a 97 Talon awd and it has about 96000 miles on it. I purchased the car with about 90000 miles on it and it always kinda acted funny when downshifting from 3rd/D to 2nd. When I say acted funny, I mean it didn't seem to want to engage when it shifted down. The engine would rev up and down a few times then it would fully engage and then it would be fine. So, I decided to do a tranny flush at about 94000 miles, I used mobil 1 and a fram filter. The fluid and filter change didn't seem to help this 3rd-2nd problem, so after about 600 miles I decided to put in 7 oz of black lubegard, as per instructions. Now ever since I added the lubegard, the tranny has started to slip in second and It seems to be getting worse every day. It slips quite badly when it downshifts from 3rd to 2nd now and even when I manually put it in 2nd and go wot. Can anyone help me out with why my car started doing this?
