Not many people post up what they're revving to, especially for an auto. I would say that you could rev it all the way to your rev limiter without any problems, unless you're revving to an ungodly number.

Do you think it will be fine shifting at 8000 rpm ?

after I put my translab shift kit in, my tranny shifts at 8200 RPMs anyway.

TO shift higher in an auto trans or to make the shift points higher? how would one do this? I have heard befor that the more power your making it will shift closer to redline is this true?

My auto already shifts higher then most of the manual guys around here do. Remember, it will also shift higher with OD off.
