2G AC Compressor Swap

Hey all,

My AC compressor has just died on my TSi.
How much work is involved in taking the old one out and putting the new one in?

If anyone can shed some light on this that would be great. Its very tight in that engine bay!

Are you sure it died? Is the clutch not engaging? It could be just low on freon or a switch crapped out

........Agreed, Could be a cycle switch, or too little or too much freon. What was the A/C gauge reading at?
