2G 2g A/C tensioner pulley bearing

Few years ago I put a new bearing in this AC tensioner pulley. You can tell the edge (fatter lip side) has been rubbing up against my new timing belt cover (grrrrr!!!!)

There isn't a lip for bearing install so I suspect I don't have the bearing quite where it's supposed to. Oddly if I move the bearing where the pulley move out some the bearing will stick through the fat lip side quite a bit. Does make sense for the bearing to be flush on one side. Does anybody have an unmolested pulley to compare? Or does the fat lip go towards the outside?
I'm usually very careful to maintain orientation or make notes.
