Oh I definitely have the time and funds to get a trans built but im saving to buy a house so thats where all my money is tied up in......

Yes, I am trying to do so. If the car does some 8-second passes in race trim, I will simply run Quick16, otherwise I will make it "street car" DSE class.

Thanks for the motivational commentary, never had engine issues, just transmissions exploding, and the fact I ran out of gas on my 2nd and 3rd qualifiers and forgot to check it, hence the horrible 10.6 pass sputtering down the track on an empty tank.

For any of you vendors who may be coming. I am looking for items/swag, to include in a draw sting sports bag we are planning on doing this year. We thought of doing just a plastic goody bag but those get thrown away at the end of the day. Now the thought is to do a nicer draw string sports bag and fill it with coupons/fliers/swag and then offer them as souvenir bags for maybe $5. Something the participants will keep around and get their money back out of in offers inside. Anyone interested in adding something to the bag please contact me.

MAJOR Changes to the event details. Please take a look. There is now NO charge for camping but you must buy a multi-day pass to the event to be permitted to stay at the track. Showers available for extended hours. Concession stands also have extended hours. Wrist bands will be mandatory for every racer and spectator every hour of every day for the entire event. The road is being shut down for the event at our shop, food vendors, BBQ and bonfire in the evening.

Now.. when you say "bonfire".. that has a certain expectation here in the South. Are we talking about 'burning a barn' sized Bonfire, or just a 'twigs and sticks' campfire that hundreds of people are going to huddle around and try to stay warm/grope each other without others noticing?

Also - Just how drunk are we allowed to get at said 'bonfire'?
