20g guys what do you think

I would like to build an 20g for my set up, my last turbo fail on me, so I got some parts to build an 20g turbo. My profile is up to date. I would use these car as an dd and might take it to the track.

Parts
16g compressor machine, 20g oem compresor housing
20g wheel
Tdo5 16g center
16g turbine wheel
7cm turbine housing

Well my firts is to max these set up until get the funds for an bigger turbo. What I have read is that the 16g with 20g wheel and 16 cover is the way to go because there is less chance of over running the exhaust 7cm housing, and it will limit the 20g wheel.
The 20g with the 20g compressor housing is good cause I can use the air potential for more hp, but it wil over run the smaller exhaust side

So guys what route some of you have taken, and what have been your spool, and performance. Thanks for looking.

Your compressor wheel doesn't care what cover it's behind.

Turbine selection is more crucial to total airflow potential than just the compressor cover itself when comparing two turbos with the same compressor wheel. Look at the 68HTA- quite potent yet still has a TD05H turbine and OEM-style compressor cover.

You really wont see a big difference from compressor covers. The biggest difference would be in the turbine wheel. The turbo you are talking about would be a TD05H 20g which is a fun street turbo. Quick spool like a 16g with a little more power to tap into.

Thanks for the info well it looks like I should go with the 16 comp cover, because there is no upgrade or better of going bigger cover, plus it will stay more as bolt on with my e16 wasgate for know I will try to max out and see what I can do with my set up.
