_______

Okay with that aside... I have the stock sized tires on my awd car. (205-55-16) My summer tires are done. They are just under the legal limit now. And the winter tires are for the winter. Being on a budget my roommate has a good set of 205-60-16's. Hell give em to me for next to nothing. Ive read about some fitment issues in other topics but am not sure if they're on a lowered car or not. Will these work? And or will there be any issues? Thanks much

On a 2G with stock suspension you will not really notice the difference. The tire will be a little taller and a tad wider but nothing that will matter.

There won't be issues, but 55's are tall enough as is. Unless they're some damn nice tires, your cornering will be lessened due to the folding of the even bigger side-walls. Personally, I think you're going to hate how they look, too.

i cant remember I will have to look but I have 225 45 or 50 16's on my talon

hope this doenst come across as asshole like but you are wrong.

The tire will not be wider. The side wall will be 60% of 205mm as opposed to 55% of 205mm. its called aspect ratio.

the sidewall will be right about 20mm larger. the overall diameter will go from 241.5 to 262 mm or 24.88 inches to 25.69 inches. also when your speedo says 50mph you will only be doing 46mph.

here is a really nice calculator
