Oct. 15th, count me in if my turd lets me make it there. Seeing that I only put 600mi on it in the 2 years I owned it I can't guarantee it will. I am painting the car Saturday and hopefully my new motor is in it and ready to go by then. Hey Silver, thanks for that back bumper, I repaired it and painted it and it looks AWESOME!!!!

We still need a driveshaft loop. I snapped a yoke and joint at the shootout and my driveshaft dropped right on the ground. Andrew Kisner from frontlinefabrications.com sells a 1g bolt on loop. I'm not sure when you need one, but i want to say its 12.99 or faster.

Got ya, congrats on the new best by the way. I was one of the guys that talked to you at the Best Western, i plulled up next to you when you were leaving in my white pick up.

That was from last year. Don't know if anything will change.
Im not so sure they are going to do the "Gambler's Race $200 entry" for Quick 16 again, since last year they had very few Q16 cars entered. I know I would be running Q16 with my 1g even if I am not competitive in ET, but Im certainly not paying $200 on a whim simply as my car doesn't fit into any other class.
Ill be there with my 10.9 hx40 car, thats if I dont get any water damage from this hurrican!!!
I see your not too far from me. Did you do your tuning or know who does? I need a tune soon.
Thanks
I should be there, unless something breaks. Last years turnout wasn't so good because there was very little info/advertisement about it, the year before was awesome alot of big name shops came out I.e AMS, Magnus,English,Kiggly ect.. Spread the word on the local/other DSM forums and there will be a big turnout.
Can't you run in stock appearing and street 16?
I'd also have to get rid of my lexan and get ahold of an exhaust system.Stock appearing is for streetcars w/ registration, full interior, radial tires, full exhaust. My car is a gutted tin can on slicks.
Street 16 has a 2800lb minimum weight, my guess is I'd need to find a few hundred pounds of ballast.I'd also have to get rid of my lexan and get ahold of an exhaust system.
Hopefully my hx40 1g can get some 10's in her along with you
Be glad to help you get to the 10s if you need it! this turbo is awsome!

This event has gone down hill over the years. When I first went (about 8 or 9 years ago) it was just Mitsu Day and there were some big players on the scene. I would get amped for this event back then, now I really couldn't be bothered to make the drive for what it has become...pretty much like everything else at Englishtown lately. It is sad when good things turn to shit.
I need someone to come down to dogbox racing with me to tune it so I can drive it home
Oh hey, ya I remember, whats up?
Think this Englishtown event will be worth going to? What are the classes? Any clue?
Not much man, if i get my car figured out i was thinking about running DSM bracket class, but if it runs as well as it should, i may get booted for no cage. Last years event was pretty beat, but the year before was really decent. The year before was probably still only about half of this years Ohio shootout though just to give you a comparison. I don't know if I'd drive the 5+ hours it would take you to run, but it's only a little over two for me, so i'll be there w/ or w/o the car.
