Hi,
I have a 93 :talon: Talon DL with the 4G37. First of all, I bought a Short Ram Intake off of Ebay and did the airbox cutting and fitted it in, but was unhappy with the lack of a change, so I removed my MAS and put on the conefilter it came with. Looks great and sounds AWESOME. Now here is the question, what are the possible consequences of driving without my MAS besides a check engine light?

Question number 2. My car does not have a rear windshield wiper, but I would greatly appreciate one. How hard is it to do the conversion?

Thanks in advance! :thumb:

Alright, Ive said this a million times, but go get yourself a K+N air filter....you will be able to keep the MAF and use your intake. Dont believe me? look at the pictures in my gallery. Get rid of your airbox completely, just have the MAF inside the filter on the end of the pipe.

I ran my car without the MAF once (forgot to reconnect it) and it couldnt even idle properly. Put it back on and use a K+N filter, you will be happy :thumb:

As for the wiper, I know that some on here have done the conversion, but Im not sure myself. I would also like to hear more about this. Rear wipers are cool!! :D

Don't run your car without your MAF. The ECU will figure out the MAF isn't giving a signal and dump enough fuel into the engine to choke a horse, you'll idle like crap and shoot all kinds of smoke out your tailpipe and loose all forms of acceleration till like 3000RPM.

I have the same setup as Crazy E basically. E-Bay polished intake pipe, 2 couplers, the stock MAF and air box on there with a K&N filter. K&Ns are better than the crap cone filters you get anyway. Just cut the "ring" off the bottom of your stock air "can" and use that to clamp the filter into place.

I'll take some pics of my setup later.
