For sone reason my car will not build full boost in first gear but it will In all Tge others can someone help

Fill out your profile and do a boost leak test, this is ridiculous.
What is "full boost" and what are you using to determine you're not seeing it?

I hardly ever pull any boost in 1'st...
gear ratio not putting enough load on the motor v.s. weight of the car

2nd gear gives you all the love you missed in 1st

A profile would help, It is common not to build "Full boost" in first gear, It is a short gear and load has alot to do with it, You should still build some pressure though. It depends on how you take off, Are you launching, Or just taking of normal, As if you were at a light. Do you have launch control? There are factors that paly into it, But you should see something in first.

work load in 2g's .. plain and simple even if oyu have your boost at 15 -16 psi in first geat it only hold 9 -10 tops . It's just how the 2g's geard to hold boost in first

You more than likely will not build much boost in 1st gear for the reasons listed in post #4.

I never have in any DSM.

You've got to be kidding me.

Do you have any clue how short your first gear is?

And they mean fill out your profile as in: tell us what mods you have done to your car.

work load means throttle down LOL...any type of "load" is called work load unless your towing in a truck but this is DSM tuners LOL

What do you mean fill out my profile

You need to fill out your profile, List of modifications you have done to your car. Click on "My account" in the upper right hand corner of the screen, It will say "Edit profile" Click that and follow the list.

It will help us answer your questions, As we will be able to make decisions based on your set up.

Well my n00b friend, when you first created you DSMtuners profile, you were asked to specify the modifications to your vehicle. This ensures that everybody is on the same page as far as what is and is not done to your vehicle. This helps for vehicle diagnosis such like this and ones further down the road. Not that there is too much to diagnose here.

Well I just assumed that when you leave the mods blank that must mean I have no mods right and a few days ago I was hitting full boost in 1st and full boost for me is 15lbs

I gotta jump in this...

You need to fill in your mods, to whatever extent they may be. This will incude ANYTHING that was not on your car when it rolled off the showroom floor.

As far as lack of boost...

These guys are not BSing you, it is unlikely you will build "full boost" in 1st gear. The gear is just too short, and the car just weighs so little, it doesn't load up the engine enough to make it boost to the max. I'm usually not seeing the pressure I have my MBC set at till about 3000 RPM in 2nd. Granted I have a much larger turbo then stock so you won't have the same results as me, but you get the idea.

So, in conclusion:
First step: fill in your profile with ANY mods on the car
Second step: Quit worrying about your boost in first, its short enough as it is.

In addition to my earlier post, actually launching (like what you would do racing, legally I hope :D) you might see some boost. Probably 3/4. This is because you have loaded the car and your engine is already spun up. Therefore the turbo is already spun up, but the wastegate is open when you don't have a load on the engine. Dump the clutch, you WILL here the turbo as the wastegate closes and probably push close to full boost.

Just don't forget to shift. First gear gets REAL short under boost...
