well it does not do it alot but it happens when i get on the gas a little actaully. I was at a red light and as i was shifting into 2nd i was just going slowly and it bucked, then it was ok again. My CEL is on though, that bugs me. Also if i don't have to hook up that 2nd line how the heck to i recirculate it then? i thought that that was the line that goes back to the intake manifold:confused:... actually now that i think about it, it buck while i was in WOT once...

to recirculate you buy a fitting that screws into the circle part where the air is released when you let off the throttle. You then take a hose from the fitting you screwed in and connect that part to the intake pipe.

To add on to what is already going on which i'm thinking is my BOV needing to be recirculated...pics would be very helpful :thumb: Today while i was driving some of the time i put my clutch in my oil light would come on for a second or two. any ideas why?

thanks Bryan:dsm:

i think they are selling you the oil cooler to use for the power steering lines. when you do a FMIC the power steering cooler line tends to rub the inside of the i/c. this in turn will ruin it and cause a major boost leak. i would just use a volvo auto trans cooler for the power steering cooler and a stock 1g cooler for the oil they work great. as for an FMIC i got a greddy mspec universal core that has been cooling better than my friends SBR FMIC. the intercooler was $250 and an aditional $190 for the piping materials

good luck on the hunt

ok guys in need of some more help...firstly i still need to recirculate my BOV (just feel that should be mentioned) ok so i just got my air/fuel ratio gauge hooked up today from what i read on here it was suppose to get hooked into the black wire from the o2 sensor right? and if i in fact do have it hooked up right i'm confused. Do to the fact that my BOV is vented to the atmosphere i thought that i was suppose to be running rich, but wen i'm in WOT the A/F ratio gauge says i'm running lean... also the gauge does not light up all the time...could it be that i'm running so lean that it does not register? because if i unhook th A/F gauge from the black line on the o2 sensor it stays all the way on rich...so any guesses o yea also still the oil light problem as stated above:beatentodeath: thanks for the help guys

you cannot go by the readings on that gauge, its just a light show.

I dont get why you just dont recirculate? Its not hard. By the adapter from a performance website (check the venders section), get a piece of hose, hook one part up to the adapter form the bov and put the other in the intake pipe where its supposed to go.

Is your intake pipe metal or stock? Some aftermarket intakes dont have a bov tube.

there is an old pic of my 1g bov hooked up back into the intake. Its basically the same for the greddy depending on where your bov is mounted.

i have an after market metal intake that does not have a place to recirculate a BOV. and i have a greddy type S i'm not sure if they have a recirculation kit...

greddy has a recirculation kit. Search for it on ebay. Since you dont have a place on the pipe your options are limited to sell it and get one with it, put on a stocker, or tap into the pipe and add a fitting to recirculate. It would probobly be easiest to buy a new one on ebay and sell this one

Well if you have $1200 for service repairs you could always upgrade to a MAFT setup and you wouldn't have to recirc any more. It's decent performance upgrade anyways and leaves room for future improvements.

ROFL 1200$ thats a good one...i wish i had that laying around. But quick question would it be better to do that than recirculate in the long run?
