I just wanna know if there is an actual write up on the 2.4L Swap from a PT Cruiser? I'd like to read up to know whats involved... for my own knowledge...

Unfortunately, as of yet, there is no solid 2.4 swap information here on Tuners. This material is provided by our friends over at 2gnt.com. I believe Alain did a write up over there, but everybody's swap is different, and there are quite a few different ways to do it. You will just need to research it. Gobs of information over there.

It's really more of a Frankenstein mutt of a motor you are building, as opposed to a full-on swap, though. Expect to lose your A/C, and keeping your PS will require a bit more work.

I'm asking cause I can get a low mileage stock SRT4 2.4L motor for 200 bucks from a friend that just recently threw a fully built motor in his SRT4

The block in an SRT4 isn't the same as one from a cloud car... i.e. you can't use it.

Who said anything about that? Neon's use virtually the same blocks as us, SRT-4's do not. Cloud cars use blocks that are "close enough."
