2.4 guys with FP 30 series blue oil return line?

Will the blue return fp sells be too short on my FP3065 with my 2.4 block? I guess could add a piece of rubber if have to but hoping won't.I also can go with a custom stainless an setup so wondering if that will work better as just cut the stainless line to length or will stainless an lines leak on oil return use?

The blue line looks like it can't be cut and shortened .

The 2.4 is supposed to be slightly higher than the 2.0.Think maybe 1/4 or 1/2 inch from way my timing covers don't line up.
