1st time at track, how did i do

hey everyone went to the track and ran a best of 14.3 @ 94mph.
i have a 90 tsi awd with a ported 2g exhaust manifold, ported 14b, and o2 housing.
I also have a 3 in downpipe with an e-cutout, 2g mas, 550 injectors, 255 pump, and a safc.With the boost set at 14psi. Considering the mods i have, am i running good times, or should it be running faster?? The car has 190,000 miles, and still on the stock clutch.

Post the specifics of your slip so we can see what needs to be improved upon. At 94 mph with a hellacious launch 13's are attainable.

you should be faster...was this on race gas or pump? its not a bad time but i bet you can knock a lot off with some more tuning

I would say you should be 13s easily. I run 14psi on stock injectors w/o AFC on a FWD and ran 13.8@104. Definately need to see a slip to see where things arent so good.

No doubt he has enough fuel, hell with the fuel mods he has I wouldn't be scared to try 18-20lbs on pump. However on a 190,000 mile engine and stock clutch that is not a wise idea. We all know well taken care of 4G63's can take abuse even with loads of miles. But that clutch, I doubt it would last one GOOD launch running anything much over what he is now. Thats where the weak link is, upgrade that and crank up that boost. 13's would be cake with the mods you have. For a first run at the track that is a good time though, what was your 60ft time?

i no longer have the slips anymore, i think they got lost on my move down to texas. But i think my 60 ft mark was a 2.0. hey catbox 95 how far are u from the dallas fort worth area???

you said the et would be there...if he drops some killer 1.7x 60' he's not gonna trap at 95 he'll trap prob around 90 unless that's what youre saying which case be more specific

Exactly, seems all this guy wants to do is get off on trying to make someone look stupid on the internet. Also for someone who claims to run a low 12 you have no mod list or an actual timeslip to back it up. There are no engine pics in your gallery so how do we know you are credible Mr Meanie?

No you don't, but to people who have never met you it certainly helps to have at leas a shred of evidence supporting a claim. I saw nowhere in your profile that linked to the vid either. In the end you are arguing for no reason, at least not one that is apparent to anyone else here. If his car has the power to do 95 mph then a high 13 is certainly possible with some better driving. Will his trap lower along with his ET, possibly, but that wasn't the point. You were the one who had to start a pissing match because you couldn't just admit that you misread the post and therefore misinterpreted the information contained in it.

wasn't a pissing match, too many people argue that if you trap at 110mph with lets say a 13s 1/4 that you'll automatically go high 11s with traciton because you'll still trap at 110 when that isn't the case. no pissing match just information
