1st time at the track last night in my NT. Did a 16.6, not good but it was a great experience. I noticed some of you NT guys with 15 second times with an intake and an exhaust. I think I launched way too high, I got tire squeel and didn't take off too fast. I shifted at 7 each time. What is the ideal time to launch and when is the ideal time to shift into first and second with an NT? I can't really practice because the track is a 2.5 hour drive, but I'll be going next season. I could try out new techniques on a few streets. Any help is appreciated. Also, a GST driver that did a 14.4 told me to drop the pressure in my front tires from 32 to 20 for more power. Is this a good idea? And what about the back tires? I have 55 profile on 16's.

about 22psi to 24 is fine. It doesn't give you more power it just helps on traction with your 60.

With FWD you want little/no transfer weight so an optimal set up would be lower the PSI in the front while leaving the back the same, if you have adjustable shocks put the softest setting in the front and hardest setting in the back, race on a 1/4 tank of gas, prothane motor mounts to prevent wheel hop, wider tires, and a LSD would not hurt either.
