1st gear trouble all other gears are fine???

so i just ordered all these parts and started tuning my car i launched at 4500 and did a pull through 3rd just gettin a log then went to put it into first (i live on a dirt road) and it wouldnt go in, i get home and 3rd and 4th slide in easy so does 5th and reverse. It goes into second but when you go to put it into first it doesnt go in ive tried it while rolling around ive tried it while stopped motor off im ready to burn the car its making me sick to my stomach

i even tried doin it by hand it doesnt want to go in at all

could it be a broken shift fork? but then would 2nd gear not work either

well i was beating on it today (been taking off in 2nd) and my 1st gear came back??? idk im not asking any questions

lost it again launched then went to shift into second and grinded it like crazy...... needless to say for some reason 1st is gone and 2nd is being ghey
