It would only pop out when I went to take off. If I put it into 1st as I came to a stop and left it there holding the clutch down. It wouldn't pop out. Eventually I had to start out a little in 2nd and once the car was rolling I could get it into 1st and it would stay. Once it started popping out, it only lasted about 2 months before destruction
I would suggest saving up now for a rebuild if you don't have the money all ready.Syncros do not cause gears to pop out.
Most likely it is a 1-2 shift for like stated already.
As for the guy with the reverse issues look into the switch for your reverse lamps, there is a "crush washer" under it that sometimes just gets too thin and needs replaced. Reverse doesn't have a shift for
