WTF, its either inline or v, there is no inline-v motors wtf are you talking about, have you lost your marbles? let me explain, inline motors have their cylidners lined up in a line, in a straight line like this (top view) O O O O O O , V motors have thei shit line up int he shape of a V , depends on who makes em its anywhere from a 45-60 degreee V (dont take my word for the degree part though)
). In my opinion the 4G is one of the most potent 4 bangers ever created. I agree, if you want to do a 1JZ swap then buy an MA70 Supra. The 1JZ swap into an MKIII is a very feasable, and relatively easy to do. It's a great upgrade to the stock 7M-GTE. i.e. improved headwork, better intake manifold and IC piping design, all the gaskets in the motor are metal, 7000 rpm redline and 7200 rpm rev limiter, stock ceramic-bladed turbines have little to no lag and give the motor and extremely smooth powerband, uses a MAP sensor instead of your standard MAF, and they have a direct coil on plug setup. The JZA70 supras also came with a torsen diff. There difficult to find but the Supra R's had bilstein suspension and a momo/recaro interior while the ltd. edition had a digital dash. Although you would of course need to get a front clip. That way you would almost all the parts needed to do the swap. The ecu harness needs to be lengthened by 21-24 inches to accomadate a LHD and you also need to have an 89+ crossmember along with 89+ round style engine mounts. If you want your power steering then best to go with a high pressure power steering house out of an MKIV along with the relating banjo bolt. If you're still interested in a 1JZ-GTE swap into an MKIII some sites that might help you out are: 1jz-gte.us, supraforums.com, and jarcoinc.com for the clip.
