No 6-bolts ever came with a 2g. They stopped in 1992.5 I believe. Unless it's been swapped, it ain't there. Check and see if there's a 1g cam angle sensor on the passenger side of the vavle cover. That's a start.

well the reason i am askin is because me and my friend were looking at his car because we have to replace his CVjoint on the driver side and we ordered the cvjoint and it came in today well when we went to get the cv joint it was completely different then the one we pulled out and we ordered the cv joint for a 1995 eagle talon tsi awd also when my friend bought the car supposedly the only mods on it were the bolt ons no engine swap or anything sryy for all the long sentences i have a tendencie to do that ### help if you can

Agreed. They stopped making the 6 bolt in may of 1992 so no chance of one finding its way into a 95 dsm without someone installing it after the fact.

Anyway, the cv joint would be the same in a 95 whether it has a 6 bolt engine or a 7 bolt. When the swap is done, the 2g tranny is reused so the cv joint/axle is reused. Are you sure it isnt for an auto and you have a 5 speed or vice-versa?

we made sure it was for a 5spd but im still not sure could you enlighten us a lil more
I don't think it would matter. The part it more than likely for a 1g.

Edit: I think all year DSM have the same CVs. I think you have a part for another car.

They could have the part for a gs or rs, not sure if they are different from a gs-t or gsx. Either way you have the wrong part.

the cv axels for a (95-99) RS and GS will not fit a GST or GSX. Ask me it took Oreillys 2 times to find my shafts for my RS. The guy first ordered the shaft for a 94 GST then he ordered some for a 96 GSX. The shafts on the GST are a lil larger than the 420A conterparts......
