Hello how are you guys doing. I recently installed my walbro 255lph fuel pump and the first day i ran it i had no problems with the car. Today i started the car up and heard a loud vibrating noise, thought it was my exhaust but after investigating found out it was the fuel pump please any suggestions why its make that loud noise. My other issue is while my car idles I am able to rev the motor as high as i want to with no issues. When i take it out on the road it will drive only get to 3000 rpm and then the motor just dies out. When i say dies out i can't move just here the turbo spooling. Thanks for looking and hope you guys can help.

Large fuel pumps often make whining noises while running. Nothing to be worried about. Stock fuel pumps usually make a similar noise when they are on their way out.

As far as your hesitation, Do a boost leak test to ensure you have no boost leaks. Report back. Also check your spark plugs and replace them if need be, same with wires.

Thanks Justin for helping me out. When i first put the fuel pump in was whineing but low now its a loud vibrating sound that shakes the car. I rewired it as per instructions under DIY tech. As for boost leak test i will do that tommorow and let you know what happens

The noise could get quieter or louder with fuel level I'm sure. But yes do a BLT and get back to me.

You should check your BOV start your car, and see if it blows air out of it. I had the same problem a week ago from today LOL.
