1G 1GB Front Diff, Replacement?

Hey guys,

So after an absolutely awful week, due to the fact my freshly rebuilt laser rs is now a piece of scrap after a 0% falt accident . I've decided looking for another dsm to full fill my need for boost.

I recently found a 93 talon for sale at a resonable price, only issue is it apperently "needs a front diff". The car drives but " the diff makes a noise and needs to be fixed"

Im curious to know what kind of work is involved in this kind of job. Yes I have already stripped a 4g63t down to the block, but never touched the driveline of mine, let alone a AWD one.

I would really appriciate your help on this one guys. Any info on prices,what to look for, or labour would be of great help.

It isn't hard to change out a differential, you will have to split the case apart. I wouldn't just assume that it is the differential without taking the trans apart. Also when you take the transmission apart assume that anything inside could be damaged from contamination.
