1g wont turn off after keys removed

Ok so i have a 94 tsi, all mods in profile. Let me start by saying idk if this matters, but i recentley got a messed up UICP and i had to move my abs unit back slightly(jus threw that in there incase it might be related)for it to fit. Other than that i recently installed evo 560's, exhaust, and swapped to eprom ecu w/ chip.

So i jus swapped ECU's to a EPROM ecu with a chip. And finally after everything i installed, i turn the car on and it idles fine, but when i turn it off(try to) and pull the key out, and the car keeps running! All the lights on the dash are off, except the abs light(thinking its because it was moved?) i had to kill it by stalling it to get it to die, and also tookout the engine fuse..

Wondering if anyone has any idea why this would happen? I am going to try the old ecu in the morning and ill post back...before this the car would always turn right on/off and never happened before.

No one has anything? the ecu will be changed shortly to see if thats the cause...other than that possibly the ignition switch?

im not to certain on this but depending on the previous owner.. and maybe what he has done to the eprom if he has modified anything to the chip or not maybe? also double check years of ecu maybe pinouts got switched or.. wires got bump.. i woul djust do a double check over your abs setup which i dont think has anything to do with it but.. you never know.. only thing i can think of his previous owners setup or you have something going on with your setup you need to double check

Is the chip setup for exactly what you have? Like I have a stage 3 key diver chip on my 1g setup for 2g maf, bigger injectors, etc. how long does it run for? It isn't like a turbo timer built into the chip somehow (idk if that's even possible). Just as long as its not a 90 ecu you should be fine. 91-94 should be fine in yours.

Sounds more like a urbo timer deal. .I had the same kind of issue when I had my Greddy TT installed.

I'll get my 1g dsm on the case, and see what he thinks.
