1g Walbro 255 fuel pump in 2g

Ive searched but no one has a straight answer. I have a 255 walbro from my old 1g awd, and now i have i have a 2g awd. Are the pumps interchangable? Some people say yes and some say no. Does everything plug right in?

Maybe you have to do some cutting or wiring to make it work. idk

Call PTE and get the 2g install kit. Done and done.

It doable with a few slight modification if you dont want to buy a new install kit.

The plug and fuel outlet are oriented backwards between 1g and 2g, however, it will work.
