1g Turbo question??

Ok. Was just doing the cheap mods on my car which I bought in 95. Never really looked at it. I decided since I had the intake system apart to try and check the turbo. I reached in and felt nothing loose and it spun freely so I was happy. Then I noticed it said TD05G on the side of it. Is this the stock turbo?? Cause I for some reason keep thinking that a 14g is the stocker for these cars. If it is stock...or not stock...whats the skinny on these beasts as far as reliabilty and output habits. Thanks a ton guys....
