1G Turbo modification question.

What are the pros and cons of running a forward facing turbo rather than the original setup?? (92 Gsx Auto)

The only pro is slightly widening compressor map efficiency from the small increase of atmospheric pressure at the inlet at higher speeds. Strictly Drag racing only.

As for cons, there are plenty from a comfortable street car perspective.

-Ingesting debris, as most do not allow a filter to be fitted.
-Use of half size radiator, which depending on which part of the country will limit your street duty time.
-Clearance issues, Powersteering might have to be removed and alternator relocated.
-Removal of AC components.
