1G turbo for 2G set-up

Ok ive been aching to do a turbo set-up for this GS that i just rebuilt. This guy pretty close to me has a 91 gs-t that he is parting out and he has literally everything. Anyway..

Can someone give me a list of things I should take from him to start a small turbo on my 420a? Ik the manifold will not work soo..Im not planning on too much boost because this 420a has about 180,000 on it but.....i re-did pistons and C-rods, and rod bearings on it..but went cheap and did a stockish rebuild.
What should I take that will benefit me. starting from scratch.

Turbo?, oil lines?, Intake piping?, InterCooler, Boost gauge, wideband A/f, Injectors???, the downpipe and modify it to work? FPR?

Tell me if theres more to take

I'm no expert but I think you would need the ECU engine harness, Turbo setup(exhaust mani, turbo, all the lines) and an intercooler. I'm not sure how well a NT would hold up to boost. Like most say its all in the boost, so your going to need a wideband setup and a way to do the tuning...

Hopefully someone with more experience on the matter can help more.

i dont need the harness or anything. i just need to knw what to take from his car that will benefit me. i don need harness ### im doin this build on a gs and my greddy aem will do just fine to tune.

Not much is really going to work for you. I mean you're comparing an apple 1g DSM w/4G63 to a orange 2g N/A 420a. Not much is going to work for you.

What I would do is take as much as you can and sell it. And put that money towards a turbo kit of your choice.

Basically, the only useful things are the boost gauge and wideband.

Can't use injectors (high vs. low impedance).
Can't use any oil lines (totally different engine)
Can't use intercooler piping (totally different route)

you can use the turbo, injectors with the resister box, the bov, the side mount inter cooler that is basically it. I suggest you check out 2gnt.com for more info. There is alot on information on that forum for the nt 2g cars.
