I have the 10mm bolt out of the speed cable on the back of the tranny. Does it just pull right out? If so, how hard do you pull. I noticed you can " unscrew " part of the cable. I can rotate the actual " flange " taht the cable is attached to, but its pretty much stuck in there, on the last tranny I removed I just ripped it out and then my speedo didnt work LOL. This time I'd like to keep my speedo without having to install a new cable. So how do you remove it without breaking it.

Update. Tranny is now out. I have the SAME problem I had with the old 1g awd tranny. Passenger side axle WILL NOT come out, I had a 270 lb guy pulling on it to get it out, still wouldnt budge. Do I have to take it to a shop or what? I know I cant ship the tranny to shep like it is now with the axle still in it, so how on earth do I get it out. What clutches come in orange, cause thats what mine is. I was told it was a centerforce.

Will I be able to remove my trans if I just unscrew the cable? And where is a good place to pry on to get my passenger side CV Shaft out of the trany I can't find anywhere good to pry.
