I ended up having to cut my speedo cable when I dropped my tranny last week, and I'm wondering if there are any tips for putting a new one in.

I tried to take the old one out by pulling it from the inside, but it would come out about 8 inches then stop. I'm kinda concerned that it's gonna be extra b*tchy to put the new one in too....

So, for anyone who's done it, any tips you'd care to share?

It took me 45 minutes to take mine out of my 94 GS and 10 minutes to put it back in. Pull it through the fire wall by the pedals and down from the gauge cluster towards the pedals. I found it best to work from the center.Good luck
