I have searched for this and have only found people that have the stock 1G plug and in VFAQ my wire colors do not match up. So if any one can help that would be great.

My stock wires coming from the wire harness are: Green/Red, Green/Yellow, Green/Blue, Red, Green/Black, Green/Orange, Green/White! I already have one 2g harness hooked up but the wires are really bad and the rubber insulator around the wire is becoming bare in some spots. I bought a new MAF and it came with a new harness. So if i just follow the old 2G harness hooked up already going by pin 1-7 will it match up or not?

From the wire colors it sounds like you have a the stock 1G MAF wires so following the VFAQ shouldn't be a problem. Other than the VFAQ being confusing.

Assuming that your current harness works I'm write down what wire goes to which pin and reference the VFAQ until it maks sense and then hook up the new pigtail so that wires go to the same pins again.

The colors of the wires are only useful for the original harness. After that it's a matter of the right signal going to the right pin.

Providing wire colors for the power transistor and the "unknown" connector creates most of the confusion in understanding that VFAQ. All you really need if how the 1G and GVR4 stock harness is wired and what pins they need to go to for the 2G MAF.

Here's my list.

Pin 1 on the 2G connector goes to the wire that was pin 4 on the 1G harness.
Pin 2 on the 2G connector goes to the wire that was pin 7 on the 1G harness.
Pin 3 on the 2G connector goes to the wire that was pin 2 on the 1G harness.
Pin 4 on the 2G connector goes to the wire that was pin 3 on the 1G harness.
Pin 5 on the 2G connector goes to the wire that was pin 6 on the 1G harness.
Pin 6 on the 2G connector goes to the wire that was pin 8 on the 1G harness.
Pin 7 on the 2G connector goes to the wire that was pin 1 on the 1G harness.
Pin 8 on the 2G connector has nothing.
