Ok so I have a 1997 Eclipse AWD and i just got a 1g throttle body off a 92 talon. I got my intake manifold machine ported already so that's set at 60mm like my 1g throttle body. My problem is that my stock 2g elbow is still 52mm in diameter along with my fmic piping. What do you think I should do since I go from 52 mm piping to a 60mm TB? Get a 1g elbow?

The 2g throttle body elbow is bigger, so it would work better. This is why alot of people get a 2g throttle body elbow and put it on there 1g.

2g and 1g are POS, big restiction right there..... Get a custom 2.5" if you can ....

2g is better that 1g just because 1g input hole is smaller that 2g. 1g output is then bigger than 2g output .... 2g is 2 inch all the way (this is inside diameter)...
2.5" input and output is what are you looking for.....:thumb:

Dejon Tool sells an upper intercooler pipe that replaces the whole 2G TB elbow and bolts right up to the throttle body. Maybe you should look into getting one of those?

I have custom ic pipes made for me that are 2.5 inch so i can't buy that uic pipe. Is there any performance shop that sells a throttle body elbow at 2.5 inches?

Yeah, I think I'm just going to port the flange on the tb side of the elbow

You dont have to do that....it wont make any difference. Now I can see if the TB was smaller than the elbow and there was a ledge the compressed air woule be hitting, then I would port the TB but the elbow doesnt need it.
