I bought a 1G turbo TB and was gonna do the swap, but i have a feq Qs for those of you who have done it.

-according to RRE's instructions, i don't need the TPS from the 1G or the ISC? Well it says the ISC is the same between the cars, but I haven't the slightest clue where the ISC is. Is it the stuff attached to the underside of the TB?

-opening up the the TB to intake manifold passage. I have a dremel and was gonna attempt to do this myself. any tips for a first-timer? is it just a step or do i have to go deeper into the opening?

-can someone clarify the instructions for adjusting the TPS after? i'm a little confused about what a feeler-gauge is or where i'm supposed to insert this thing.

THANKS!

PORTING, its just a small flange (aluminium ) it ports easy

SENSORS, ya use the 2g TPS and 2g ISC . the ISC in at the bottom of the t/b near the coolant inlet/outlet. held in with 2 screws . its the bigger of the 2 sensors. on a g t/b there is alot another sensor you dont need.. its by were the throttle cable attaches, looks like a littel pin switch.

It's really probably not worth the time or money, there is very little pressure drop through the 2g throttle body.

all you need to do is port the manifold and TB elbow, and swap the TPS, which is the little black deal on the opposite side of the TB from the throttle cable. Check where the screws are on your stock one (because the are in a slider-type hole) before you take it off so you can put it on the same way on your new TB w/o re-calibrating it.
