Don't tell me to search because I did but that thread didn't have the answers for a 420a.

Anyway, hello again everyone. I was wondering about putting a 1g throttle body on my manifold to help with performance. And with that arises my first question, would it even fit on mine? And the other question is, would it even help enough to worry about it?

Thank you for your help.

There isnt a 1g 420a motor to get one from.
Basically nothing from any of the mitsubishi motors will work on a 420a (chrysler) motor.
You have to get parts off a chrysler engine . You can swap on a modified jeep throttle body

As he said. Either modify a jeep TB or purchase one linked below. I'd recommend the latter since its 5mm bigger (Jeep is 55mm IIRC) and it is a quality piece that has been proven.

I know my post wont be about the 420a tb, but it may help sum 4g guys. I dont know if your question is "will the 1.8l tb be an improvement over the 420a and can I get it to fit correctly, or get it to work at all"?

The turbo 1g TB is 60mm, vs the 95+ 2g are 50mm tb.
I also am not sure just by reading, if you mean will the 60mm tb fit my 420a?
