Just took my project beater down the road for the first time, its a '93 AWD beater with a JDM swap, full 3" exhaust, big 16g, 560 evo's, big front mount and a blow thru MAFT. Car actually ran great, no boost control just the turbo outlet hooked straight to the wastegate gave me 10lbs of boost with a horrendous boost creep to 15psi LOL. car is darn fast but handles like its on ice. Car has Eilbach sport springs with AGX struts. The tires are new on the outside and bald inside. Ok it needs an alignment bad for sure and probably new ball joints. I'm not a lowered car guy so would it make more sense to just put on stock springs to make it drive better and align easier? Good handling is important plus I'm gonna do a little drag racing. What do you recommend?

Yes, if you put stock springs back on it would be a quick and easy way help your negative camber problem and get you back to better tire wear, handling, etc. I run the agx's with stock springs and they are great for whatever you want to do. Softer for the street and hard for the strip.:D

Thanks I hate feeling like an old guy (I am- 42 years young) but I absolutely HATE lowered cars, to me it looks like the car just came out of the ghetto. I know with the 2" drop my car has its gonna take a big amount of money to get the car aligned right and handling right, so now I know the motor runs great (idles perfectly and shifts perfectly) I'm gonna put the car on jackstands and tear into the suspension, new ball joints, tie rod ends, LCA bushings and probably swaybar bushings. Anything else? Car is gonna be a playtoy I'll probably end up driving alot, and drag racing every friday night. My last DSM had coilovers and they were harsh and noisy as heck I dont wanna go that route. Think some younger guy will swap me my springs for stock ones? LOL

Sounds like you have a good plan of action. You should be good with what you're getting.:thumb: And yeah, that's a good idea. You might want to post something up in your local forum about trading springs with someone. Even if someone doesn't want to trade you might be able to pick some up for next to nothing.:)
