Ok I have a 1990 GSX that I just swapped motors in. All my mods are listed in my profile. Anyways, after installing the motor and hooking everything up, we got the motor started. We checked the timing and had the car running fine. Well I've had to go through and button up some leaks on the car but everytime I would do something to it I would start the car up and double check what I've done. Well the other day I went to start the car again and needless to say the car won't start. We checked for spark and it is getting spark. I also changed spark plugs to make sure that wasn't the problem. It is getting fuel also seeing as after cranking the car you can smell gas. My question is does anyone have anyother ideas as to why it won't start? The next step I am going to do is pull the lower timing cover and make sure it didn't jump time. Anything else I should look at? Any help would be great. Thanks alot.
