No, I wouldnt. I would do a 2g to 2g conversion. I converted my 1998 tails to the same 1998 tails. It looks great. You cant even tell.

You do realize that you are probably one of the few 1g owners to have a banana yellow paint job not to mention you said the next best thing to owning a skyline was to make your car look like one.

No...leave the body parts these cars came with alone.

There are some small (less expensive) things that can be done to make the exterior of DSMs look "better" but tail light covers, and conversations are not the way to go.

If you like the way something else looks then go buy one of those.

I remember seeing a kid where i use to work who had a 1g with covers with rounded out the tailights, but its all kinds of illegal. It was like a sticker basically for the taillight. Dunno where he got them or how much. If your going to do it, get real taillights assemblies with the matching bumper and all.
