I need help!! My 1990 plymouth laser RS was having some squealing issues when i was reversing. The rear kept squealing like mad pigs, so i bought a shim kit and some new pads for the rear, installed them and all is fine while reversing. BUT now when i go forward at low speeds (below 50kph) they squeal. What can i do? ive checked the calipers over and over again but i dont know what could be happening. everything seems to be working but yeah... can anyone help me plz !?!?!

The shims that i have adhesive that sticks right to the pad... but ill rip them off anf try the anti squeal paste... thanks man.

Let us know how this goes. My brakes squeek when I am stopping from a reverse move like out of my driveway. I don't get it either.

Keep us up to date.

My brakes used to squeal all the time when i was going in reverse, thats why i wanted to change the pads. Now it STILL squeals while going forward but not in reverse anymore. So i think that ill have to get a different type of pads and try them out. Ill keep ya posted if it works

Thanks for the help guys! :laser:
