1g non-turbo, ina 2G turbo????

my car is starting to show syptoms of crankwalk(godamn 7-bolts) it has 210k. I can get a 4G63 135 hp 6-bolt 1g motor 4 $500 it has 40k and id "perfect". can a n/a 4g63 be put in a 2G if I put all my good parts and my turbo and stuff on it(turbo, manifold, intake manifold, intake, o2 sonsor housing, down pipe, everything but the block and heads. Although the heads are still good the engine hasn't blown yet. Please help me out here :(
 
all my turbo parts are stock. Can I get away with not changing the internals. Because i'm just trying to sell it. Also what are the syptoms of crankwalk so I know thats whats going wrong
 
buy the nt block. have your current pistons installed on the nt's rods and then install them on the nt block and crank. then you'll be good to go.

from there on out its a typical 6 bolt swap into a 2g, although you'll now have 2g pistons.
 
im glad to hear that its basicly the same motor, just that that internals are different.
i thought it had to be a turbo motor. 1gnts are dime a dozen on the local junk yards, but to find a 1g turbo is difficult around here.

how about the head, it is my undestanding that the only difference is the cams? correct me if im wrong.
 
The NT block is only different because it doesnt have these oil suirters that shoot oil up onto the piston skirts, some say your ok without them some say you need them. Search up on it. The head is only different by cams as you said.
 
From my understanding the 1g intake cam is notched for the cam angle sensor, im not to familiar witht he 2g, but I dont think they came with cam angle sensors (I could be wrong) So it would be wise to use the 1g turbo cams in this operation or have your 2g cam notched to fit
 
I don't give a damn my cars a worthless peice of shit so u guys with good cars should do the talkin :thumb: If I part it out how much u think I could get it is "mint" exept the block and heads, (turbo is perfect aloung with all other parts, body, interior, all motor accesories are perfect)
 
U would have to give me 2000 dollars because I took out $2000 over 6 months so I used my car as callateral. so if I part it out I don't need my title, get it?? :thumb:
