Can anyone confirm if you can log an AEM boost gauge from the EGR input on the 1g ECU? I'm not running speed density so it's the only input I have left since I'm using the front o2 for narrowband simulation. ECMLink says this input does not work with the AEM Widebands so I'm not sure if it'll work with their boost gauges.

Yes you can. I am logging aem wideband thru front o2 sensor input and 3.5 bar aem gauge thru the egr input. I am also not on speed density, hopefully will be soon. If my memory is still good, than I used ecmlink setting that they have in drop down menu. Also my map sensor is the brass one, so it could not be used for speed density. I didn't realize that when I was buying it. Oh well, live and learn.

Thanks man! Wanted to make sure whatever digital gauge I ordered could be logged before I pulled the trigger.

I believe the 5 bar one could be used for speed density. It costs a little more but it will prevent you from buying another map sensor in the future. Also the 5 bar could be tap and threaded in the manifold. By the way it's not my photo but that's what I would like to do in the future.

I also solder gm connector from the harness side and the other side to the gauge. It is nice that way because I can disconnect it and solder the wires awey from hard to reach spot. Also I did have aem wideband logged thru egr input and had no problems. At least I didn't see any problems.
