Superbrightleds.com are well known for their high quality, yet cheap LED's. Club3g uses these for every bulb in the interior of the 3g's as well as many other cars.

For cold cathodes I can't give any more rep to anyone other than oznium.com. $15 gets your two 12" cold cathodes with a 1 year, no questions asked warranty. The cathodes are 3x as bright as my friends 20" street glow neons, and they don't dim when it's really cold. They're also the same diameter as a pencil so they're easy to hide.

The cluster LED swap is easy, the only thing is you want to remove the orange film from the back of the gauge faces before putting in any color other than red or orange, which is a PITA.

PnP LEDs still are no where as bright as actually building LED circuit and it's really not that hard. I'll put together a How to of the one I mad last night later on tonight, it only took me an hour to do. I do however want to change the LEDs I'm using as the current ones are too blue (even though they are white).

Give us more info on the specific bulbs you used please.

Do u have a link or part number or something?

They're either 194's or 74's (can't remember as I've done it on 1g,2g, and 3g). Here's is c3g's how to, same concept- HOW TO: Change interior bulb color - Club3G Forum : Mitsubishi Eclipse 3G Forums

The superbrightleds.com led's are actually very good at lighting, if you get the right ones.

I didn't say they wouldn't be good at lighting just that actual LEDs like I have done will be much brighter. Personally if I'm going to put LEDs in I want my interior lit up like it's day time.

T1.5 Instrument LED bulb
•1 Standard 5mm or High Power SMD LED #74 type Instrument Cluster and Gauge illumination bulb
•100/120 degree wide angle LED bulb installed in twist lock socket base
Select LED Type Standard 5mm T1.5-x High Power SMD T1.5-xHP (+ $ 1.00)
Select LED Color Red Amber Cool White Blue Green UV-BlackLight

will these work for a 2g and how many is need?

*sorry i know its a 1g thread but i though id ask
