1G installed MAFT, now car won't turn over?

Ok, I have searched high and low and I only found one that was similar to my problem, but was not resolved (and I don't think that will resolve it). I have a 91 Eagle Talon TSI AWD. I installed a MAFT (the original) and now the car will not turn over. I go to turn it over, and the starter clicks (the initial click, not a battery dead click), but it does not turn over. The car ran just fine before the install (no problems starting). I did notice some damage to pin to the red wire on my CAS, and I think I have that problem fixed (is there a way to know for sure?). I am at my wits end with this Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Check all your connections again and if that doesn't work uninstall it to see if the car runs without it.if it does it may be the Maft and or the settings.

I checked connections multiple times (not tested, but visually checked). Is there a way to test that the pin and splice is good? I used butt connectors on splice, but I'm not positive I fixed the pin problem. Are there any suggestions for fixing the pin in the plug (the female end of plug) I think I have all settings on MAFT set. I uninstalled and it still didn't start (tried this before I found the bad pin so that may solve the problem). Would it not turn over if the MAFT was bad?

Resolved-ish! Turns out it was the clutch safety switch! How convenient that it go out when I installed the MAFT . Unplugged it and now it starts, just gotta set the tune better now. Thanks for the reply Noy and thanks to the other 107 views .
