Ok, so I did a 1g head swap on my 2g. I took all of the necessary procedures for the swap. I rewired the 1g cas to work with my ecu, got all the parts, hooked everything up, etc. The timing is on. It cranks, but does not turn over. I don't expect anyone to know what the problem is right away, but being my first time taking it apart and getting it all back together, I just need some pointers for troubleshooting. Please don't say "spark, fuel, compression" because that really won't help me at all. I need specifics. I physically checked for spark, so I know that's fine. I don't smell fuel on the spark plugs, so I'm guessing it's fuel related. I know I'm not the only dsmer that's ever done this on his own, so please give me any advice you can. Thank you.

i had that problem on one car i was working on. there's a number of things that could do it.
you say that you don't smell fuel on the spark plugs, but is it getting fuel pressure? unhook the line to the FPR and crank it and see if fuel is squirting out.

and when you crank it, does it sound like a normal crank? or is it going slow?

no, the crank sounds pretty normal...I can see a small amount of smoke coming from the exhaust system if that helps at all

Sounds to me like you're on the right track... No fuel smell when pulling plugs = check for fuel getting to the injectors. Fuse blown for some reason (fuel pump or MPI fuse/relay)? Make sure you check. Also, if you just pull the fuel line @ the FPR, all that would tell you is if you have any volume of fuel getting there. That is really not an accurate way to see if you have proper fuel pressure.
