Resolved 1g EPROM ECU Compatability

Anyone know if an EPROM from a 92 Auto FWD DSM will work on my 91 5-speed GSX?
Searched but found mostly questions regarding whether or not 91-94 ECU's will work on a 90 DSM.

All I can think of that might be different is the difference in injector size when comparing an auto and a 5 speed.

edit: I will not be running this ECU until I get a custom Keydiver chip.

May I ask why it will not work. If you have it burned for your injectors you should be fine. It should work.

What had me worried was the fact that the ECU was from an automatic DSM. I don't know much about hardware/software, but I would assume that there is a special program or "chip" made to run the automatic tranny...

"The 1991-1994 Turbo ECU's are all identical. As long as its an EPROM, so you can change the code, they are interchangeable."
